Banda Yala begann als Duo, als Aron Hollinger (Gitarre) und Odysséas Manidákis (Bouzouki) sich 2016 während ihres Musikstudiums in Linz trafen und zusammen zu spielen begannen. Ihr damaliges Ziel war es, zum Spaß ein paar traditionelle und Rembetiko-Melodien aus Griechenland zu spielen. Sie begannen in verschiedenen Restaurants und auf Live-Bühnen in Linz und Umgebung aufzutreten. Durch das Beisein von Karolina Gaitanous bezaubernder Stimme wurde die Gruppe 2022 vervollständigt. Wir freuen uns, das musikalische Ergebnis dieser Synergie mit Ihnen zu teilen und können es kaum erwarten, den Abend gemeinsam in Leto zu feiern!

Banda Yala began as a duet, when Aron Hollinger (guitar) and Odysséas Manidákis (bouzouki) met and started playing together in 2016 during their music studies in Linz. Their goal back then was to play a few traditionals and rembetiko tunes from Greece for fun. They started performing in various restaurants and live-stages in Linz and the surrounding area. Through the recent addition of the enchanting voice of Karolína Gaitanou in 2022, the group was completed and entered the next level. We are happy to share the musical outcome of this synergy with you and can’t wait to celebrate the evening in Leto together!
