Ireland-Palestine Solidarity Session

Join us on Sunday April 21st for another Ireland-Palestine solidarity event, this time with an open discussion, film screening, live music and poetry, and a traditional Irish music session. This is an opportunity to come together in solidarity and support for Palestinian people and culture and strengthen connections across anticolonial communities.

We invite you to drop in for a chat and some food and join some of the sessions from 5pm til midnight.  

Schedule:
4.30pm – Doors open

5-6pm – Open discussion on the roles and importance of music and dance in protest, resistance activism and anticolonial work (see @solidaritysessionsvienna on Instagram for more details)

6-7pm – Screening of the short film “Stateless”, followed by a conversation with director Mohammad Abo Shukur, hosted by Teresa Awa.

7.30pm – Live music and poetry

10pm – Traditional Irish music session
